Malthouse is the home of writers and directors who shake expectations. Those who are visionary world builders, intrepid storytellers and rigorous theatre-makers.  

Spaces include;

The Tower - Originally a dynamic performance space, the Tower has become a sought-after venue for bespoke events, rehearsals and workshops. The maximum capacity for the Tower is 100 patrons.

The Bagging Room - host your next event or workshop in this large, bright space where the magic happens, and our shows take shape. The maximum capacity for the Bagging Room is 150 patrons.

The Foyer - a glamorous and breath-taking space capable of hosting up to 400 guests. Available for functions and events during non-show periods.

The Courtyard - a hidden gem in Southbank! A beautiful outdoor space shrouded in mature trees, festoon lighting and dedicated outdoor bar. Capacity - 1000 guests.

Vivi Southbank - a beautiful Italian restaurant offering hand crafted pizza, pasta and traditional Italian food of the finest quality. Capacity - 80 seated, 120 standing.
